Icons for Pixel Weather on the lock and home screens come and go. Without them the weather info cannot be accessed (Pixel Weather screens cannot be navigated to, disappearing immediately on navigating away from the app). Very frustrating. Bug has continued for 2 weeks at least without being fixed. As a temporary measure, finding the app within the app store and touching "Open" accesses the app. Looks like the icons disappearing from time to time is the issue.

I really don't like this update, and it seems like most people agree with me. It's so much harder to read with each metric being in a differently shaped thing instead of a simple list. It's unintuitive and ugly. Why would you get rid of the frog and replace it with big shapes everywhere?? It takes me forever to find the information I was looking for. The design of the app DID NOT need to change. I hate that Google always tries to fix things that aren't broken.

uses AI and it's often VERY VERY wrong! Can't deal with how far off the temp and storm info is so just had to delete it! The bad info got me stuck in a bad storm. We checked it for a month straight against numerous other weather options and it was so off that it would have caused me to get stuck on numerous very dangerous storms on my long drive home from work had my boss and I not been checking other apps actively!

This app is horrible. The forecast is not accurate even on that day. The radar shows clear skies while I am sitting in a torrential down poor. After about 20 minutes the app updates to tell me I have an hour of rain left, and the radar still hasn't updated. Meanwhile, I have other weather apps notifying me that rain or any inclement weather is approaching. there are some features I like but highly suggest you find a different app.

This app is going in the wrong direction. It's harder to use, ugly, and no longer has froggy. The default weather does not appear to use my exact location unless I select it from a saved list (which I would have to add for each location I visit). I am planning to revert to the previous version.

Standalone app sucks. I have to add a location to my saved locations to see the weather forecast for places I will be visiting instead of just being able to search for it like I used to. The options are unintuitive - how am I supposed to know to slide something to delete it? Add the three dot menu option or a long press instead. The map feature is pointless if it's only a precipitation forecast and it doesn't let you see temperature in nearby places, all the info is in ugly looking widgets.

It's fine, I guess, but I find it frustrating how much space the widget takes up for how little it actually displays. There's plenty of room to display Celsius and Fahrenheit simultaneously but that option isn't provided. If they add it and optimize the screen space usage I'd consider a better rating

One star for not being easily able to switch up the units of the various weather data. You can go into System->Languages->Regional Preferences and change "Temperature" to "Celsius", of course, but that only changes the temp units in the Weather app, which is somehow dumber than not changing it at all. Embarrassing. Disabling the app brings back all the old stuff, though, so at least there's that.

Not detecting the precise location anymore. Even with permissions for it enabled and allowing background activity and disabling battery optimisation. It now just defaults to County! which makes it pretty useless, especially as you can't select a "Manual" location as your default one, only allows you to use "Current location" as the default, which would be fine as long as it knew where I was!! Fix!

This is the most unreliable weather app I've ever interacted with. On multiple occasions, the app would be telling me the weather is very different from what it actually is. For instance, just yesterday, my family is sitting outside under dark, cloudy skies experiencing prolonged drizzles and downpours, but the app is telling me my current location is partly sunny with 0% chance of rain. I have now disabled this app since I can't uninstall it.

This seems to be becoming more and more unreliable. Consistently, the app is saying we are in the middle of a strong thunderstorm (for hours at a time) while there's not a cloud in the sky. There's also not even a rain shower showing up on the weather map for hundreds of miles. Also, the app loves to display a feels like temp of 76° almost all the time. This app also desperately needs radar. The weather map will show no rain to be seen, yet it's currently pouring.
